RÚV (Ríkisútvarpið) is Iceland's national public-service broadcaster, providing television, radio, and online news in Icelandic. Its news service covers national and international affairs, politics, and culture for a broad audience under a public-service mandate. As the country's principal public broadcaster, it is one of Iceland's most widely used news sources.
