NBC PNG
The National Broadcasting Corporation is Papua New Guinea's state broadcaster, established in 1973 ahead of independence. It runs the national Radio PNG network, provincial stations and NBC TV, and its website carries news from across the country. As the public broadcaster it reaches remote communities that commercial media rarely cover.

Is NBC PNG left-leaning, right-leaning or centrist?
NBC PNG is listed as Center on Crosswire: as a public-service broadcaster its mandate is broad, balanced coverage rather than a party-political editorial line. Crosswire groups Papua New Guinea outlets into left, center and right so you can read the same day's events from more than one vantage point: seeing NBC PNG beside outlets of a different orientation makes editorial choices — which stories lead, which framing is used, what gets omitted — far easier to spot than reading any single source alone.
Leanings shown on Crosswire are approximate editorial orientations drawn from widely cited media-bias assessments (such as AllSides, Ad Fontes Media and Media Bias/Fact Check) and from each outlet's reputation. They are offered to help you read the same story from different perspectives — not as definitive or exhaustive judgements. Where a confident rating was unavailable, an outlet is shown as centrist. Read how Crosswire classifies editorial leanings.
