Information

Dagbladet Information is a Copenhagen daily founded in 1945 as the newspaper of the Danish resistance, and owned since the 1970s largely by its own employees and readers. A small-circulation but influential quality paper focused on politics, culture, and ideas, it is consistently characterized as left-leaning, complementing Denmark's centre-right broadsheets Berlingske and Jyllands-Posten.

Is Information left-leaning, right-leaning or centrist?

Information is generally regarded as left-leaning in its editorial orientation, according to widely cited media-bias assessments of Denmark's press. Crosswire groups Denmark outlets into left, center and right so you can read the same day's events from more than one vantage point: seeing Information beside outlets of a different orientation makes editorial choices — which stories lead, which framing is used, what gets omitted — far easier to spot than reading any single source alone.

Leanings shown on Crosswire are approximate editorial orientations drawn from widely cited media-bias assessments (such as AllSides, Ad Fontes Media and Media Bias/Fact Check) and from each outlet's reputation. They are offered to help you read the same story from different perspectives — not as definitive or exhaustive judgements. Where a confident rating was unavailable, an outlet is shown as centrist. Read how Crosswire classifies editorial leanings.
