BBS
The Bhutan Broadcasting Service is the kingdom's public service broadcaster, running national radio since 1973 and the country's only domestically produced television channels, launched in 1999. State-funded but constituted as an autonomous corporation, BBS reports in Dzongkha and English on government, culture and rural development, and its website is a primary national news source.
